Gone essay June 5

      Have you ever been away from your parents for a long time? Some times you may feel useless with out orders and may have non senseical actions. In the story by Michael Grant my claim is that Sam has hate and worrie for Caine.

     I think this because they have waged war on each other and worked to getter for a common goal. As showen in the first book where Caine attacks Sam and his group. But in later books they have to work together. As shown here "a clear shot with a thought he could kill Caine" here Sam could kill Caine but he decides against it.

   After Sam learns of his brother he has distrust with his mother, he know what to believe. Sam becomes temporary leader of the community. He attempts to make a stable community when the community is attacked by the kids from Coates acadamy led by Caine.

   Sam is given a choice to stay in the FAYZ or abandon it and let Caine kill the community. Here is Sam's choice "No,I have things to do here." Here you can see that Sam worries about Caine had he personality.

   My claim is that Sam has mixed feelings for Caine. In the book Gone ,Sam has made diffrent decisions towards Caine.
